Nackter Bote operate on the cutting edge of music, architecture and art. The Swiss-German trio comes from a jazz background and have explored ist application to musical forms ranging from contemporary music to improv. This international group of young musicians are keeping mum about what will happen at their concert.

They connect with a drastic art collage-technique, abstract sound structures intentionally ironic melodic passages, a passionate style of weaving music full with charm elegance and humor.

Since three years the 4 musicians Urs Röllin, Ewald Hügle, Robert Morgentaler and Dieter Ulrich have devoloped their own playing concepts. All four have roots in both jazz and classical music. Various other influences on each player raise the exitement in their combined playing as well.

The music of the quintet is mostly the original material of the jazz pianist Thomas Silvestri and finds home in contemporary acoustic jazz.

Attractive original themes variating from lyrical to raunchy with highly energetic rhythmic passages are charesteristic of Thomas' works. A highly instensive jazz with poesy, humor and convincing improvisations.
